Annual General Meeting for financial Year 2023 at the Russian Club in Stratfield
A reporting and election meeting was held at the Russian Club in Sydney on November 26.

In the past year, the club hosted many interesting meetings, lectures on art, concerts, and theatrical performances. The club ended the last financial year on a positive note - income amounted to 21 thousand dollars.
In the new year, it is planned to widely celebrate the 100th anniversary of the club, pay more attention to working with children, complete the second phase of the website, with the possibility of payment via the Internet, and continue work on updating and maintaining the club’s premises.
The club's board works for free as volunteers.
Nikolai Tolpygin and Nina Levitskaya remained the chairman and deputy chairman of the club for another year. 11 applications were submitted for 7 positions of club directors. By majority vote, E. Kaskina, Y. Karapetyan, D. Kucherenko, N. Lyakhova, A. Khlebakova, N. Chubukov, E. Engel were elected to the new board. The board consists of people of three generations, from young people to older people who have worked at the club for many decades. Recently, the number of young members on the board has been growing and they plan to prepare meetings that will be interesting for young people. The club will celebrate its centenary in a good, cheerful mood!
