On April 30, the Russian Club in Stratfield (Sydney) hosted an Orthodox Easter lunch for which about 150 people gathered.

Chairman of the club Nikolay Tolpygin congratulated everyone on the holiday, who gathered and performed the main Easter chant "Christ is risen from the dead... ". The chairman told the club's news conference that on Fridays there are classes for computer and social media, English lessons and several other curricular programs.

Nikolai reminded that in May there will be two big events - a concert of three singers "Roads of Love" on May 7 and "Songs and Dances of the Peoples of Russia" on May 28. Vice-chairman Nina Levitskaya reminded that next year the club will celebrate its centenary and invited members and friends of the club to participate in a program of festive events. Our club is the oldest such ethnic organisation in Australia.
