Art festival in the anniversary year!
On February 10 and 11 of the anniversary year 2024, the Russian Club hosted a wonderful Art Festival dedicated to the centennial anniversary of the club. An exhibition of works by artists in painting, textiles, ceramics, and jewelry was organized in the large hall of the Russian Club. The festival was opened by organizer Alla Khlebakova, club president Nikolai Tolpygin and vice-president Nina Levitskaya spoke.
What talented Russian artists we have, wonderful paintings, wonderful jewelry and ceramics!
Lecturer-art critic, artist Ksenia Kirkbride spoke interestingly at the lecture “How to understand contemporary art. Wassily Kandinsky!
Master classes on acrylic painting were held with artist Alla Matveeva.
How wonderful the live music of our wonderful Svetlana Zadorina sounded!
The exhibition of children's drawings, where children participated in three age categories: from 5 to 8 years, from 9 to 12 years and from 13 and older, aroused great interest. All children received prizes and gifts!
It was very nice to drink a glass of champagne and treat ourselves to wonderful sandwiches.
Thank you very much to all the artists, organizers and helpers. The festival was a success!
